Dino was born in New York, NY (a town so nice, they named it twice) in the 1970's and has been in Tucson for 28 years. He went to high school locally and U of A.
Growing up in NY, Dino listened to some great major market radio (WABC & WNBC...both AM music stations) where he heard alot of the Mega music when it was new to the world and was inspired to be a baby DJ, He started collecting records and filling his brain with useless music info and trivia...What's the only song to be #1 on the Billboard charts twice in the same decade by 2 different artists?....Dino knows!!! During college, Dino started working at a local Tucson station and eventually became a grown up DJ and Music Director. He was even nominated for a Music Director of the Year Award from Billboard Magazine.
Dino listens to music for a living (really!!!!) and still resides on the East Side (but, now the Southeast side) of Tucson. He works out of his home and gets to be with his wonderful family ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When he's actually leaves the house, you'll find Dino at the gym or loitering in the new Mega Studio.....they've got a pretty sweet flat screen TV in there.
Favorite Movies: the original Star Wars trilogy....there's only one "Return" and its of the Jedi.
Favorite Mega Artists: The Bee Gees and Prince
Favorite TV shows: Rescue Me on FX, Entourage on DVD, Celebrity Rehab on VH1, and whatever is currently playing on ESPN.
Favorite Tucson Pizza Place: New York Pizza on Broadway and Camino Seco....the best!!!
